Academic Advising

All entering students are assigned an academic advisor depending on their declared major at Georgia Tech. Each school decides whether their majors are assigned a faculty advisor, a professional advisor, or both. Undecided students are assigned an academic advisor within their declared college. Undergraduates meet their assigned advisor at orientation and at regular intervals during their college career. Academic advisors are ready to help with course scheduling, degree requirements, academic counseling and academic strategies.
