Tutoring

A number of free tutoring services are available on campus for students who need extra help or just want to stay on top of the material. See table for listing.

  • Residential-Freshman
    A residential learning community in nine of the residence halls that includes tutoring in the residence halls for chemistry, physics, math, and computer science from 8-midnight.
  • Georgia Tech’s Cable TV Channel 20 Tutor Vision
    Students can call in to a live tutor on GT cable network from 9 to 11pm Sunday through Thursday night for help with chemistry, physics, and math.
  • School-based Tutoring
    Physics, Math, ECE, and Computer Science, all have their own tutoring services or T.A.’s available centrally within their departments.
  • Academic Support Center
    Walk-in tutoring services for dozens of classes run by OMED-Office of Minority Education Development-open to everyone. Sunday through Thursday 5:30-7:30 pm.
  • Success Programs Tutoring
    One-on-one tutoring for dozens of classes. One hour tutoring per week per student during the day. Signup is by web based appointment system.
